What do teachers do on ESE inservice days?!

πŸŽπŸ“š Ever wonder what happens on Teacher Inservice Days? πŸ€”

On Monday and Tuesday, our Ell-Saline Elementary teachers traded their classrooms for two days packed full of learning, collaboration, and LOTS of brainpower! πŸ§ πŸ’‘

Our teachers:

πŸ“– Completed dyslexia training with Jill Hodge.

✏️ Participated in professional development focused on incorporating structured literacy practices across the curriculum.

🎯 Worked together to prepare for our upcoming KESA School Improvement Day.

πŸ’‘ Reviewed HIIPs (High-Impact Instructional Practices) strategies to strengthen classroom instruction.

πŸ“‹ Learned about the Kansas Individualized Literacy Plan (KILP) that the state will introduce next fall.

And yes, we even squeezed in a little team building and fun along the way! πŸ‚

These days are packed to the brim, and by the end, our teachers' brains are definitely working overtime! 🀯 But behind all the information, planning, and collaboration is one common goal: finding ways to make learning even better for our students! ❀️
