Young Writers at ESE

✏️✏️ This morning, Ell-Saline Elementary was buzzing with the sound of writers at work!

In 2nd grade, Mrs. Fouard's students had fun with a creative prompt: "If Mrs. Fouard were an animal, what would she be and why?" The responses were as imaginative as they were entertaining!

Mrs. Parker’s 3rd graders were busy writing letters to their pen pals in Lindsborg—making meaningful connections through the written word. Meanwhile, Mrs. Snyder’s class tackled persuasive writing, crafting arguments and learning how to make their voices heard.

Over in 6th grade, Mrs. Vernon’s students were impressively coding sentences to strengthen their grammar skills—an advanced and engaging way to explore language!

And in Pre-K, Mrs. Komarek’s students were writing words and sentences all about plants, showing off their growing vocabulary.

What a great day to be a young writer at Ell-Saline!
