3rd Grade Visits Strataca

Our 3rd graders had an awesome trip to Strataca, the Salt Mine Museum in Hutchinson! They explored the mine 650 feet underground, learned about salt mining, and got a hands-on look at how it all works. They also saw old mining equipment, learned how the salt was formed millions of years ago, and even tried some fun, interactive activities. It was a great way to bring their science lessons to life, spark their curiosity, and give them a memorable experience of the world beneath our feet!
