First Grade Field Trip to Lakewood Discovery Center

First grade had a fun day at the Lakewood Discovery Center and Lakewood Park! They started with a picnic lunch and some time to play, then learned all about local habitats. They talked about what animals need to survive, how we can help take care of nature, and went on a trail walk to explore the area. Along the way, they spotted turtles, fish, and even saw a blue heron! It was a great day full of learning and outdoor fun.
