ESE Principal

Welcome ESE!  My name is Darla Raile.  I am originally from St. Francis, KS.  I attended FHSU for my undergraduate work, before taking my first teaching position in Salina.  While in Salina, I taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd Grade, and Title 1.  During this time, I earned 2 Master's degrees from Baker University;  MA in Education and MS in Building Leadership.  I then ventured back to St. Francis to teach 4th grade and 5th/6th ELA for one year before becoming the K-5 principal.  I was principal in St. Francis for 6 years, before coming back to the Salina area.  I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to lead Ell-Saline Elementary.  This is my 2nd year at ESE.  I look forward to continuing to build excellence in our building and district.  Go Cardinals!
