Two FCCLA groups visit ESE!

Two groups of FCCLA students from Ell-Saline Middle/High School are currently working on their FCCLA STAR Events and will be competing in February.

Dakota and Cooper focused their project on early childhood students and promoting healthy food choices, specifically vegetables. They read the book Tops and Bottoms, led a story-based activity, and provided a vegetable snack for the students to reinforce the lesson.

Emmalyn and Aaliyah focused on older elementary students for their "Focus on Children" project. Their lessons centered on inclusion and anti-bullying. They shared stories that prompted discussion and reflection, followed by an activity where students gave compliments to one another by "filling each other's buckets."
