Megan Dotson

5th grade

I am excited to be an Ell-Saline Cardinal this year.  I have 8 years of experience in elementary education, 5 of which are in public schools. I am originally from North Central Missouri.  I moved to Kansas a little over 12 years ago. We have lived in Salina for all 12 years but recently moved to Bennington at the end of April. I am married to my husband, Matt.  We have two boys, Traven and Truett.  Traven will be in 6th grade and Truett will be in 4th grade.  I am also excited to bring my boys over to Ell-Saline with me this year.  We have a 3 year old dog, her name is Lucky.  We also have Russell who is our 18 year old cat.  Some of my favorites are the color purple, chocolate, unsweet tea, fall and spring, decorating my house, farmhouse decorations, and spending time with friends and family.  

I will be teaching Math and Social Studies.  I am looking forward to diving in to Ell-Saline and getting to know the families, students, teachers, and community.
