Mrs. Werner is starting her 27th year as a math teacher, with the last 20 being at Ell-Saline. She graduated from Ell-Saline High School and received an Associates Degree from Brown Mackie College, a Bachelors Degree from Kansas Wesleyan University, a Masters Degree from Fort Hays State University, and a Masters Degree from Emporia State University. She is the 7th grade math, 8th grade math, and Algebra I teacher. She is also the assistant middle school volleyball and track coach. She is the middle school Scholars Bowl sponsor and the building mentoring teacher for new teachers. She has been married for almost 37 year, has 3 sons, and 6 grandkids. She enjoys spending time with family, walking, gardening, reading, and taking care of her goats, chickens, and dogs.
