NOVEMBER SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES

National Space Club Scholarship

National Space Club Scholarship $20,000 - 1 Award, to be eligible for the scholarship a student must: A) be a senior in high school, B) have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited US college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests, C) the applicant can only use the $20,000 scholarship towards tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year. WSU - Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (DSI)

The Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (DSI) is one of the largest undergraduate scholarships awarded in Kansas. This year through the DSI process we will award three $64,000 scholarships to attend Wichita State University in the fall of 2025. This year, the competition will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024. The criteria for this year is: 1) 3.5 or higher unweighted GPA, or 27 (or higher) ACT (1210 SAT equivalent) or rank in the top ten percent of their high school class. 2) Must apply for admission to WSU by November 1, 2024 and submit scholarship application materials to WSU by 11:59 pm on November 10, 2024. . WSU - Wallace Invitational for Scholarships in Engineering (WISE)

The WSU College of Engineering will host the annual Wallace Invitational for Scholarships in Engineering (WISE) Competition on Friday, November 22, 2024. At the WISE competition, 10 seniors will be awarded $28,000 each to study engineering at WSU. To compete in WISE, high school seniors must be admitted to WSU by October 15, 2024, complete the WISE application by November 10, 2024, declare a major in engineering, and meet ONE of the following: GPA of 3.5 (unweighted), minimum 27 ACT composite score, OR top 10% class ranking. 2024 State Masonic Public School Essay Contest

Any Junior or Senior attending a Kansas public high school is eligible to participate in this essay contest in order to win cash prizes including 1st place, $4000, 2nd place, $3000, 3rd place, $2000, 4th place $1000, and 4 Honorable Mention for $500 each. Essays must be submitted to the Local Lodge (Masonic Lodge, 143 S 3rd, Salina, KS 67401) on or before November 1, 2024.  Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship

The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships (National awards range from $1,000 per year to $7,500 per year) to the highest-rated applicants in the 2025 competition. The 2025 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. The 2025 MVS application deadline is November 12, 2024. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program

The Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship is a scholarship program that aims to support high-achieving high school seniors who have demonstrated financial need. Each year, 40 Jack Kent Cooke Scholars are selected and receive funding for four years of college. This funding includes tuition, living expenses, books, and other required fees. 2025 NHS Scholarship

Since 1946, the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) has awarded more than $25 million in scholarships to outstanding NHS seniors. This year, we are awarding $2 million in scholarships to 600 students. Each year, scholarship recipients are selected based on their demonstration of the four pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. To be eligible, a student must be a high school senior and/or expecting to receive a high school diploma during the current academic year, an active member in good standing of a National Honor Society chapter, meeting all membership requirements and obligations of the local chapter, an NHS student account holder, verified by the NHS chapter adviser, and planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. college or university.  2025 NHS Scholarship Information Deadline:  November 26, 2024 at 5:00pm ET


The Flusche & Fitzgerald Undergrad Scholarship

The Flushe & Fitzgerald Undergrad Scholarship $500, 2 awards, deadline November 30, 2024, and June 30, 2025: to be eligible for the scholarship a student must: A) be a high school senior who has been accepted into a college, university, or trade school or B) students who are currently enrolled in a college, university or trade school. The Flusche & Fitzgerald Scholarship Contest requires students to raise awareness about different legal issues. Rural Voices Youth Contest

High school seniors from North Central Kansas are invited to enter, including students from the following counties: Clay, Cloud, Dickinson, Ellsworth, Jewell, Lincoln, Marshall, Mitchell, Ottawa, Republic, Saline, and Washington Counties. Enter an essay or short video based on the theme: “Rural Kansas...My Hometown.” Entry deadline is February 3, 2025. LEARN MORE www.ncrpc.org/ruralvoices
