KINDLE....here to stay!
Students have been very enthusiastic (and very responsible) with the Kindles. We now have an additional 5 at the Elementary school.
We're sticking with.the very basic Kindle with no bells and whistles. Our collection of ebooks is slowly building and most of the students will be able to find something they want to read on the eReader.
Students and their parents/guardians will be required to sign a statement taking responsibility for any damage to the eReader and promising to replace a Kindle if it is lost or stolen while they have it checked out. This paperwork must be in place before a Kindle will be released to a student.
At the Elementary School, Kindles will be loaned only to 5th and 6th graders in good standing.
