Home practice is very important in helping your student make progress with their speech and language skills.

Here are some other ideas besides practicing on the websites listed:

*Read aloud with your student and ask them questions about what you have read or have them practice reading using their good speech sounds.

*Play a game (e.g., Sorry, Candyland, Trouble, Uno) with your child. Before they get to take a turn at the game, have them say their speech sound or answer a question. If you would like more ideas of what you could target or a list of words with your child's speech sound please let me know and I can send some things home.

*Pick a 5 minute time a day when you can have a conversation with your child about their day (e.g., on the way home from school, while you are cooking supper, during supper, before bed). Have them use their good speech sounds or grammar during this time.

Thank you for visiting our Speech page and for allowing me to work with your student! If you have any questions please let me know.
