Mrs. Little loves reading, crocheting, and remaining active in her church. She married her high school sweetheart, and she and her husband have two wonderful, crazy boys, one of whom is a “li’l cardinal” at the elementary.

Mrs. Little was born and raised in Salina. After graduating from Salina Central she attended K-State University School of Technology and Aviation (now K-State Polytechnic University) before transferring to Kansas Wesleyan University and ultimately graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Speech/Theater Education and a minor in English. In college, she was a member of Pi Kappa Pi, the national speech honor society, serving as chapter secretary for three years and competing on the speech team. She recently graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Master of Arts in English, achieving the honor of being inducted into the prestigious national collegiate honor society Phi Kappa Phi.

After graduating from Kansas Wesleyan, she worked as an assistant manager at a local hotel. In 2012 she was honored to teach two sections of Public Speaking here at Ell-Saline for dual credit, and she has loved being a part of the cardinal family ever since. Now teaching English and speech to juniors and seniors, she enjoys the vibrant students, the advanced curriculum, and the talented staff.
