CPTA Chairs

2008-2009 Chairs

Without the support of our many volunteers, CPTA would not be able to put on all the great events and activities that we do each year.  These people have volunteered their services to help each of these areas at our school:

• Library Fund Chairperson  - Dana Edgerton

         ¨ Shall coordinate the collecting of Box Tops

¨ Shall provide assistance with Book Fair

¨ Shall act as a CPTA liaison with Mrs. Fouard/Mrs. Randolph

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Budget Team

• Staff Events Chairperson  - Angela Allen

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Teacher Appreciation Week Team

¨ Shall coordinate meal for Fall Parent Teacher Conferences

¨ Shall coordinate meal for Spring Parent Teacher Conferences

¨ Shall coordinate all other Appreciation Events (Cook, Secretary, Custodian, Principal, Bus Driver)

¨ Shall provide assistance with Staff Recognition Night at HS football game

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Budget Team

• Fall Events Chairperson  - Mindy Schneider

¨ Shall coordinate CPTA table at Enrollment

¨ Shall coordinate CPTA table at Back To School Night

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Red Ribbon Week & Monster Mash Team

¨ Shall provide assistance with Fall Sports Night at HS football game

¨ Shall organize volunteers to help with Fall Picture Day

¨ Shall assist with Salvation Army Food Drive

¨ Shall assist with the Hanging of the Greens

¨ Shall coordinate Read with Santa Night

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Carnival Team

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Budget Team

• Spring Events Chair  - Cher Richards

¨ Shall provide assistance with Winter Sports Night at HS basketball game

¨ Shall organize volunteers to help with Spring Picture Day

¨ Shall organize Family Skate Night

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Track Meet Team

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Volleyball Camp Team

¨ Shall assist  with Spring Pep Rally

¨ Shall act as a Play Day liaison between CPTA and Mrs. Songer

¨ Shall organize state testing snacks for students

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Budget Team

• Fundraising Chair  - Casie Cox

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Fundraising Team

¨ Shall organizes sales of summer movie tickets

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Budget Team

• Publicity Chairman  - Michelle Griffin

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Budget Team

¨ Shall act as an executive member of the Yearbook Team and the Website/Newsletter Team

• Parliamentarian  -

¨ Shall attend all CPTA monthly meetings

¨ Shall use the bylaws and Robert’s Rules of Order for reference to keep discussion in order and progressing
