Digging up History
World History

During Mr. Miller's World History class this year students were to become archaeologists and study local history. The students plotted coordinates in their GPS devices and went looking for lost ruins in Brookville. Once they located the dig sites, they staked out the area. They then used archaeology tools and began digging for artifacts. After collecting the artifacts they took them back to the lab for further investigation. They found messages in other languages, religious symbols, pictures and other clues that helped find answers to the origin of the artifacts. Using investigative methods they studied the artifacts and solved the mystery behind who or what left the lost ruins.
